How it works

Four simple steps. Built around your lawyer.

You apply online, we confirm your claim with your solicitor, and we send your money. There's nothing to repay until your case settles.

1

Apply online

Answer a few quick questions about your accident, your injury and your lawyer. Takes about five minutes on a phone.

2

We confirm with your lawyer

We contact your solicitor directly to confirm the basics of your claim and obtain a written repayment authority.

3

Funds in your account

Once everything is confirmed, your initial $1,000 advance is paid into your bank account. Further advances are possible as your claim progresses.

4

Repaid at settlement

When your claim settles, your lawyer repays us directly from your settlement funds. You make no repayments before that.

Our loans

Built for Australian personal injury claims.

If you're represented by a personal injury lawyer and your accident wasn't your fault, you may be eligible. We support four main claim types.

Motor vehicle accidents

Drivers, passengers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians injured in a road accident that wasn't their fault. Covers every Australian CTP scheme.

Workplace injuries

Injuries sustained at work or in the course of employment, where a common law damages or workers' compensation lump-sum claim is on foot.

Slip and fall

Injuries in shops, public spaces, apartment buildings, footpaths or other premises, where a public liability claim is being pursued.

Medical negligence

Claims arising from negligent treatment, misdiagnosis or care by a healthcare provider. Suitable where liability has been admitted or is likely.

Eligibility

You may qualify if all four are true.

Our eligibility rules are simple and we apply them honestly. If you're unsure, apply anyway and we'll tell you straight.

  • You have an active personal injury claim in Australia
  • You're not at fault (or only partially at fault)
  • You're represented by a personal injury solicitor
  • You were employed at the time of the accident

Don't have a lawyer yet?

You need to be legally represented before you can apply. If you haven't found a personal injury lawyer yet, get in touch and we'll point you to firms in your state that handle claims like yours.

How we get paid

No hidden fees. Here's what you'll pay.

Our advance is not free, but you only pay when your case settles. We're upfront about cost because we'd rather you make a clear-eyed decision than be surprised later.

Interest rate
Reasonable & affordable
A clear monthly rate quoted to you in writing before you sign. Non-compounding.
Processing fee
One-time
A single establishment fee applied when your loan is set up. Quoted before you sign.
Repayments before settlement
None
You make no payments until your claim settles. Total interest and fees are deducted at that point.
If your claim fails
No repayment
If your claim doesn't result in a settlement, you don't repay us. We bear that risk.
Clear terms before you sign. Your full interest rate, processing fee, and total expected repayment amount are itemised on your loan agreement before you sign. Your solicitor receives a copy and confirms the amount before deducting it from your trust account at settlement.

Why Compo Pronto exists
"After twenty years acting for injured Australians, I saw the same story over and over: people with valid claims, ground down by the wait. Compo Pronto exists to make that wait survivable."
